AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF AN
EIGHT (8) FOOT WIDE EAST-WEST UTILITY EASEMENT AND A FIFTEEN
(15) FOOT WIDE NORTH-SOUTH UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 2-A, BLOCK
7, SOUTHWEST PARKWAY CENTER ADDITION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended that portions of certain
utility easements in Lot 2-A, Block 7, Southwest Parkway Center Addition be closed;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it
advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the utility easements
hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Portions of certain utility easements in Lot 2-A, Block 7, Southwest Parkway
Center Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, being more specifically described by metes and
bounds as follows:
STARTING at an iron rod at an ell corner of Lot 2-A, Block 7, Southwest Parkway Center
Addition, according to plat recorded in Volume 25, Pages 365 and 366, Wichita County Plat
Records, said rod being 499.0 feet S 89° 52' W from the most Easterly Northeast corner of
said Lot 2-A and also being the Southwest corner of Lot I-A, University Park Shopping Center;
THENCE S 89° 52' W parallel to and 25.0 feet North of the South line of Lot 2-A, 237.5 feet
to a point for the Place of Beginning of this tract;
THENCE S 89° 52' W parallel to and 25.0 feet North of the South line of Lot 2-A, 291.9 feet
to a point for the Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N 00° 08' W parallel to and 225.0 feet East of the West line of Lot 2-A, 129.5 feet
to a point, for the Northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N 89° 52' E 15.0 feet to a point for the most Northerly Northeast corner of this tract;
.THENCE S 00° 08' E 121.5 feet to a point for an ell corner of this tract;
THENCE N 89° 52' E parallel to and 33.0 feet North of the South line of Lot 2-A, 276.9 feet
to a point for the most Easterly Northeast corner of this tract;
THENCE S 00° 08' E 8.0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 4157 square feet
of land ;

to a point, for the Northeast corner of this tract;
