RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1989 ALLEY
REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO THACKER -BERRE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Thacker -Berre Construction Company with the
estimated total cost of $246,381.50; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$248,383.81 of which $235,863.13 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due $12,520.68 of which a $101.49
landfill charge will be deducted; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1989 Alley Rehabilitation Project is hereby accepted and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
