RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO
THE FACTORY MUTUAL COMPANY, FOR GRANT
MONEY THROUGH THEIR ARSON GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is currently
operating an Arson Investigation Unit under the direction of
the Fire Marshal's Office, and
WHEREAS, this Arson Grant Program provides
organizations with financial support for equipment and
training in Arson Investigation, and
WHEREAS, this program will provide money to the local
Fire Department's investigators for equipment and training
to more effectively coordinate arson activity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager authorizes the Fire Marshal to make
application to the Factory Mutual Company's Arson Grant
Program in the amount of $ 5,735.00.
