RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AWARD OF BID FOR
SIDELOADER CONTAINERS FOR USE BY THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bid of
500 three cubic yard sideloader containers; and
WHEREAS, bid were opened on December 14, 1989 by the
Purchasing Agent: and
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a summary of the bids for
the containers and has determined the lowest, responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Fuqua Enterprises is accepted for 500 three cubic
yard containers in the amount of $123,500.00 as specified by the
bid document.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 4th day of January, 1990.
