RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXERCISE OPTION TO EXTEND CONTRACT WITH
SOUTHWESTERN TELECOM, INC. FOR MAINTENANCE
AND SERVICE OF THE CITY'S TELEPHONE SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Southwestern Telecom,
Inc. entered into a contract on November 21, 1989 for maintenance
and service of the City's telephone system for the period from
December 1, 1989 through November 30, 1990; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that it may be extended at
the City's option for three additional one-year periods.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to exercise the option
to extend the contract with Southwestern Telecom, Inc. for
maintenance and service of the City's telephone system for the
period from December 1, 1991 through November 30, 1992 .
