RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE SOUTHWEST PARKWAY
DRAINAGE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Duke Construction Company with the estimated total cost of
62, 312 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
61, 599.80 of which $60, 367 . 80 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $1,232. 00; and ,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Southwest Parkway Drainage Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
