RESOLUTION NO. /7f/
RESOLUTION AWARDING PURCHASE OF TREES FOR PARKS AND MEDIANS.
WHEREAS, bids were opened October 21 , 1991 , for
replacement and new trees in parks and medians.
WHEREAS, upon review of the bids submitted, the City
Council finds that the lowest, responsible bidders are James
Anderton, Wichita Valley and Yaupon John.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Contracts for the purchase of replacement and new trees
are hereby awarded to James Anderton, Quinlan, Texas, for
183 trees in the amount of $19,857. , to Wichita Valley for
262 trees in the amount of $16,307.50, and to Yaupon John,
Carrollton, Texas, for 83 trees in the amount of $6,225.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of November 1991 .
