RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH DIGITAL EQUIPMENT
CORPORATION FOR MAINTENANCE OF COMPUTER
HARDWARE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Police Department
operates a Computer Assisted Dispatch System and Records
Management/Fire Management System utilizing Digital
hardware, and
WHEREAS, continued operation of the system depends upon
maintenance provided by Digital Equipment corporation, and
WHEREAS, Digital Equipment Corporation has agreed to
provide continued maintenance for the period October 25,
1991, through October 31, 1992 , for $34, 752 . 00.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into
contract with Digital Equipment Corporation for maintenance
of computer hardware and to sign the contract.
