RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PIPELINE AGREEMENT WITH
THE WICHITA, TILLMAN AND JACKSON RAILROAD
COMPANY FOR THE NORTH DRAINAGE BASIN PROJECT.
WHEREAS, as a part of the North Drainage Basin Sanitary
Sewer Improvement Project, the City of Wichita Falls must install
a sewer trunk main at Mile Post 1. 3 to Mile Post 1.7 on property
owned by Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, and under crossings
leased to Wichita, Tillman and Jackson Railway Company at Mile
Post 1.4 and Mile Post 2.0, Wichita Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined the proposed pipeline
agreement prepared by the Wichita, Tillman and Jackson Railroad
Company, and considers it to be in the best interest of the City
to accept such agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed pipeline agreement between the City of Wichita
Falls and the Wichita, Tillman and Jackson Railroad Company for
the installation of a sewer trunk main at Mile Post 1. 4 and 2. 0
is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
said pipeline agreement on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of September, 1991.
