RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG CENTRAL FIRE
STATION PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO SCALES
CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION, INC
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Scales Concrete Construction, Inc with the
estimated total cost of $30,499.50; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
28,489.78 of which $27, 065.29 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $1,424.49; and ,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Central Fire Station Parking Lot Reconstruction
Project is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to
make final payment to the contractor.
