RESOLUTION NO. 1014-'-f/
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AGREEMENTS WITH THE TEXAS FOREST SERVICE FOR MATCHING TREE
GRANT .
WHEREAS , the Texas Forest Service invites applications
for matching grants for trees; and ,
WHEREAS, the City desires the continued beautification
through the planting of trees; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient funds ( $2500. ) is available for the
local matching share .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
agreements with the Texas Forest Service regarding the
matching tree grant; that sufficient funds are available for
the local matching share , and that the trees will be planted
and maintained in a City park .
