RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF EXCESS RIGHT-
OF-WAY AT 810 EAST SCOTT STREET.
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1991, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 73-91, which declared a 0.103 acre strip of right-
of-way at 810 East Scott Street as surplus property; and,
WHEREAS, this tract of land is too small to be used
independently, and the City desires to sell this property in
order to relieve the burden of maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
As authorized by Chapter 272 of the Local Government Code,
the City of Wichita Falls shall sell the following described
excess property located in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas:
A 0. 103 acre tract of land, more or less, out
of a 0. 517 acre tract conveyed to the City of
Wichita Falls on November 22, 1933, and
described in a deed recorded in Volume 325,
Page 446 of the Wichita County deed records.
The above-described property is to be conveyed in fee title,
reserving a utility easement, to Control Equipment, Inc. , for the
fair market value of $561. 00, and the Mayor is hereby authorized
to execute the deed on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls.
