RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL STATEMENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES AND PROPOSED
USE OF FUNDS UNDER THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974, AS AMENDED, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE 1991-1992 FISCAL YEAR GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has conducted Public
Hearings on the proposed use of $1, 391, 000 of 1991-92 Community
Development Block Grant Entitlement funds, $12, 000 in additional
1990-91 Community Development Block Grant Entitlement funds and
17, 527.39 of Program Income, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken public comments given at
these hearings into consideration in amending and revising the
Final Statement of Community Development Objectives and Proposed
Use of Funds.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an
Application for Federal Funds (SF 424) and execute the necessary
grant agreements, forms and contracts that might be required by
the Department of Housing and Urban Development to receive Fiscal
Years 1990-91 and 1991-92 Community Development Block Grant
Entitlement funds and to allocate the program income funds as
indicated in the program description.
