RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AS COMPLETE A PROJECT TO
RELOCATE A WATER LINE ON MIDWESTERN PARKWAY
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with WPW
Utility Construction Company, Inc. for the relocation of a water
line on Midwestern Parkway:
WHEREAS, the original contract was in the amount of
24,943 .55;
WHEREAS, the amount of work accomplished was $24,783.80 and
the City has previously paid the contractor $20,773 . 17, leaving
an amount due or $4, 010. 63 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the project and found
it satisfactory, and has recommended Council accept as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to relocate a water line on Midwestern Parkway
at Maplewood is hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager
is authorized to make a final payment of $4, 010. 63 to WPW Utility
Construction Company, Inc.
