RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1990 ALLEY
REHABILITATION AND SCOTLAND SEWER SERVICE
REPAIR PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Duke Construction Company with the estimated total
cost of $283, 041.70; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
362, 678.96 of which $342,775.24 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $19,903 .72 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1990 Alley Rehabilitation and Scotland Sewer Service
Project is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to
make a final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 16th day of July, 1991.
