RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO INSTALL
SLUDGE PUMPS AT NORTHSIDE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Control Specialists, Inc. of Roanoke, Texas for installation of
three sludge pumps at the Northside Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and the staff inspected
the work and found it acceptable;
WHEREAS, the original amount of the contract was $21,536 and
the City has made a previous payment of $19, 382 .40 leaving an
amount due to the contractor of $2, 153 . 60; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to accept the project as
complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install sludge pumps at the Northside
Wastewater Treatment Plant is hereby accepted as complete and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $2 , 153 . 60
to the contractor.
