RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRMS OF ALAN PLUMMER AND
ASSOCIATES, INC. AND CORLETT, PROBST AND
BOYD, INC. FOR SECOND PHASE OF TOXICITY
REDUCTION EVALUATION AT THE RIVER ROAD
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is required by the Texas
Water Commission to conduct a Toxicity Reduction Evaluation (TRE)
at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the Toxicity Reduction Evaluation Plan and Work
Schedule developed by the engineering consulting firms of Alan
Plummer and Associates, Inc. in association with Corlett, Probst
and Boyd, Inc. has been approved by the Texas Water Commission;
WHEREAS, Phase A of the Plan and Schedule has been completed
and the City is now ready to proceed with the second phase;
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue using the engineering
services of Alan Plummer and Associates, Inc. in association with
Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. ; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract for
the engineering services for the second phase of the TRE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with Alan Plummer and Associates, Inc.
in association with Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. is approved
with a total maximum fee of $124,413, and the City manager is
authorized to execute the contract for the City of Wichita Falls.
