Res 084-91 5/21/1991RESOLUTION NO. 84-91 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CERTAIN PARCELS OF EXCESS REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF DEEDS TO CONVEY TITLE. WHEREAS, twenty-one parcels of excess real property have been advertised for sale to the general public; and, WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened on May 10, 1991, submitted by eleven bidders who desire to purchase said property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1 . The above high bids are hereby approved with the following exceptions: Parcel No. 3 The $150. 00 high bid is not adequate as the tax appraised value of the property is 6,435.00. Parcel No. 8 The $100.00 high bid is not adequate as the tax appraised value of the property is 2,113 .00. SECTION 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to join the officers of the other taxing entities in executing special warranty deeds conveying title to the buyers of the properties.
