RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT THE NORTH TEXAS REGIONAL
NARCOTICS TASK FORCE/2 GRANT AWARD
WHEREAS, the Criminal Justice Division, Governor's
Office has notified the City of Wichita Falls that a grant
award in the amount of $386,552 , designated as North Texas
Regional Narcotics Task Force/2 has been awarded to the City
of Wichita Falls, acting as coordinating agency, and
WHEREAS, $289,914 in federal funds are being provided
for this project and the participating agencies will provide
matching cash in the amount of $98, 638. 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept said
grant award on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls and to
sign the acceptance notice as the City's authorized
official.
