RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG RENOVATIONS TO
THE RED DOOR SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO WALLACE AND RAUB
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price
contract with Wallace and Raub Construction Company, Inc. with
the total estimated cost of $49, 333 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
49,451.47 of which $44,506. 32 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $4,945. 15; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Renovations to the Red Door Senior Citizens Center
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make
final payment to the contractor.
