RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO MARTA COMPANY FOR
METER BOXES AND METER BOX LIDS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for
large and small meter boxes with lids and additional lids for
each size meter box;
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the bids received and
determined the lowest responsive bidder to be Marta Company,
Wichita Falls, Texas in the amount of $70,987.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for meter boxes and extra lids is awarded to Marta
Company, Wichita Falls, Texas in the amount of $70,987.50. The
City staff is authorized to requisition these products on an as-
required basis.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 7TH DAY OF MAY, 1991.
