RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING CONSULTING FIRM FOR PREPARATION
OF CONTRACT DRAWINGS ON THE CDBG RED FOX
EXTENSION FROM EXISTING RED FOX SOUTHWARD TO
MAURINE STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to acquire
property and have contract documents prepared for the CDBG Red
Fox Extension;
WHEREAS, the Council seeks to engage an engineering firm for
land acquisition plats and contract documents and the firm
Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. of Wichita Falls, Texas is known
from previous work to have the necessary expertise to complete
the work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered a proposed contract
for the purpose stated with the firm of Corlett, Probst & Boyd,
Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract between the City of Wichita Falls and Corlett,
Probst & Boyd, Inc. whereby the engineering firm will prepare
plans and specifications along with other related contract
documents and survey work as described in the contract is hereby
approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
contract at a fee not to exceed $55, 000.
