RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
HELD IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ON MAY 4, 1991 FOR
COUNCILOR AT LARGE, COUNCILOR FOR DISTRICT 1, AND COUNCILOR
FOR DISTRICT 2.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, held in the Memorial Auditorium building on the
7th day of May, 1991, at which time a quorum was present, there came
on to be considered the returns of the municipal election held on the
4th day of May, 1991; and,
WHEREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election, it was
found to be duly and legally held in all respects, and that 2,789
voters voted in said election, and that votes were cast as follows:
FOR COUNCILOR AT LARGE:
Claude E. Greer received 291 votes.
Dwain Welch received 96 votes.
Jay Carl Hager received 113 votes.
David L. Farabee received 1,983 votes.
Wm. W. (Bill) Johnson received 210 votes.

FOR COUNCILOR, DISTRICT 1:
Giola E. Ozuna received 36 votes.
Terrance E. (Terry) Loughry received 450 votes.
Charles Thomas received 410 votes.

FOR COUNCILOR, DISTRICT 2:
Bill Cannon received 28 votes.
Pearl Rodriquez La Chance received 34 votes.
Angus Thompson received 454 votes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said election was in all respects legally held in accordance with
the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter and the ordinances of
the City of Wichita Falls; that David Farabee was duly and
legally elected Councilor at Large; Terrance E. Loughry was duly and
legally elected Councilor, District 1; Angus Thompson was duly
and legally elected Councilor, District 2.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2.42%/ day of May, 1991.
