RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO CONEX
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE HOLLIDAY CREEK
SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project, said
project to be bid on a unit price basis;
WHEREAS, Conex Construction, Inc. of Round Rock, Texas
submitted a unit price bid with an estimated total of
2,455,200. 00; and,
WHEREAS, this project is being financed by funds from the
State Revolving Fund administered by the Texas Water Development
Board, and the contract must be awarded on a contingency basis
until the Texas Water Development Board authorizes the City to
issue a work order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project is
hereby awarded to Conex Construction, Inc. of Round Rock, Texas
in the estimated amount of $2,455, 200. 00. Award of this contract
is contingent on receipt by the City of Wichita Falls of
authorization of the Texas Water Development Board to issue a
work order.When such authorization is received, the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the purposes
stated and to issue the necessary work orders.
