RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF VACANT
LOTS ON CLIFT STREET.
WHEREAS, Resolution Trust Corporation, as Conservator of
North Texas Federal Savings Association, has agreed to sell three
lots on Clift Street to the City of Wichita Falls for $5,000.00;
and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to purchase
this property for the future development of Riverside Cemetery.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Property Administrator is hereby authorized
to acquire the hereinafter described property located in Wichita
Falls, Wichita County, Texas, for the future development of
Riverside Cemetery.
SECTION 2. The legal description of the property to be
acquired in fee simple title is as follows:
Lots 50, 51, and 52, Clifts Resub. of Block
1, Bellevue Addition, a/k/a 410, 412, and 414
Clift Street.
SECTION 3. The Property Administrator is authorized to pay
5,000. 00 to Resolution Trust Corporation as Conservator of North
Texas Federal Savings Association, for the above-described
property. Said Resolution Trust Corporation will execute a
special warranty deed to the City of Wichita Falls and will pay
619. 93 for the release of the mowing liens against the property.
