RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT FOR REPLACEMENT
OF SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Opex, Inc. for the
replacement of a sanitary sewer lift station;
WHEREAS, the original contract amount of $55, 300 was
increased by one approved change order in the amount of $4,923 to
a final contract amount $60, 223 ;
WHEREAS, the City has previously made payments to the
contractor in the amount of $59, 018.54 leaving an amount due of
1,204,46; and,
WHEREAS, the work is complete and has been inspected by the
staff, and the Council desires to accept the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to replace a sanitary sewer lift station on Kemp
Blvd. is accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make a
final payment of $1, 204.46 to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 16TH DAY OF APRIL, 1991.
