RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE RE-ROOFING AND
SEALING WALLS AT THE MARTIN LUTHER KING
CENTER PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
LYDICK-HOOKS ROOFING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price
contract with Lydick-Hooks Roofing Company, Inc. with the
estimated total cost of $57, 150. 00 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
57,925. 00 of which $52, 132.50 has been previously paid to the
Contractor leaving an amount due of $5,792.50; and,
WHEREAS, the City Staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG re-roofing and sealing walls at the Martin Luther
King Center is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized
to make final payment to the Contractor.
