RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION
OF AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS STATE
LIBRARY FOR A LIBRARY SERVICES AND
CONSTRUCTION ACT TITLE III GRANT FOR
A JUVENILE UNION CATALOG
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls
desires to cooperate with the Wichita Falls Independent School
District to promote literacy and the use of public library
facilities in the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to file an application on
behalf of the City with the Texas State Library for a Library
Services and Construction Act Title III Grant for a Juvenile
Union Catalog Program in the amount of $135, 052.
