RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO INSTALL
IMPROVEMENTS AT THE SECONDARY RESERVOIR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Wallace & Raub Construction Company, Inc. for the installation of
certain improvements at the Secondary Reservoir; and,
WHEREAS, the improvements have been completed and have been
found acceptable by the City staff;
WHEREAS, the original contract of $49,876 has been increased
by an approved Change Order to a final contract amount of
53,480; and,
WHEREAS, the City has made previous payments in the amount
of $48, 132, leaving an amount due to the contractor of $5, 348.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install improvements at the Secondary
Reservoir is hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager is
authorized to make a final payment to the contractor in the
amount of $5, 348.
