RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
WITH UNION PACIFIC COMPANY FOR WATER PIPELINE
CROSSING
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a four-inch water
pipeline that crosses a railroad right-of-way belonging to Union
Pacific Railroad Company at Mile Post G-788.27 ;
WHEREAS, by Resolution Number 2753 dated April 7, 1981, the
City of Wichita Falls approved a pipeline license with the
predecessor of Union Pacific, MKT Railroad Company, and the
pipeline license was issued as Agreement Number KT-32432;
WHEREAS, the original pipeline license expires on March 31,
1991; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Union Pacific
Railroad Company desire to execute a Supplemental Agreement to
extend the term of Agreement KT-33941.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain Supplemental Agreement to pipeline license KT-
33941, having been reviewed by the City Council, is hereby
approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the same
for the City of Wichita Falls. The City Manager is authorized to
make a payment of $500.00 to Union Pacific Railroad Company for
the pipeline license fee.
