RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR DISPOSAL OF
HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS AND AUTHORIZING CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the North Texas Regional Drug Enforcement Task
Force occasionally seizes hazardous materials, waste and
controlled substances from clandestine laboratories,
WHEREAS, as grantee for the Task Force project, the
City of Wichita Falls has requested bids for the disposal of
such hazardous materials, wastes and controlled substances,
and
WHEREAS, Leak-Tec Corporation of Hurst, Texas is the
only company to submit a bid for such disposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contract
with Leak-Tech Corporation for chemical disposal and to sign
such contract.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of February, 1991.
