RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE NARCOTICS OFFICER/1
GRANT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE,
CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has made application
to the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division for a
drug enforcement grant, and
WHEREAS, the Governor's Office has approved the
Narcotics Officer/1 grant in the amount of $34, 317, and
WHEREAS, the fight against drug abuse demands a
sustained commitment to the enforcement of drug laws
throughout this region,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept this
grant award in the amount of $34, 317, and to sign the grant
contract.
