RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRM FOR LAKE WICHITA STUDY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to study Lake
Wichita in order to develop a range of options for reclaiming the
Lake for recreational use; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended an engineering contract
with the firm of Biggs and Mathews, Inc. to conduct the study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with Biggs and Mathews, Inc. to
conduct a study of Lake Wichita is hereby approved with a cost of
60, 000. 00 and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
contract.
