RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SUMMER
FLOWERS TO PLANTLAND INDUSTRIES, INC.
WHEREAS, bids for the summer flowers to be planted in
the City medians and parks were opened on January 21 , 1991 ;
and
WHEREAS, the low bid of $14,401 .02 for all ten summer
flowers was from Plantland Industries, Inc. ; and,
WHEREAS, Plantland Industries, Inc. has produced plants
with the quality guidelines of the bid specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the low bid is a good price and within the
annual budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A contract is hereby awarded to Plantland Industries,
Inc. in the amount of $14,401 .02 for the purchase of 35,980
summer flowers.
