RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXERCISE OPTION AND APPROVE FIRST
AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR CATERING SERVICES
AT THE WICHITA FALLS ACTIVITIES CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Cantu Services, Inc.
entered into a contract dated February 7, 1989, providing for
catering services at the Activities Center; and,
WHEREAS, said contract provides for the extension of the
contract for four additional one-year periods at the mutual
agreement of the parties; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the contract for the
second additional one-year period as provided in the contract; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to exercise option to
extend contract with Cantu Services, Inc. for catering services at
the Activities Center for the second additional one-year term
beginning March 1, 1991 and ending February 29, 1992 and that
certain First Amendment to contract, a copy of which is attached
hereto, is hereby approved.
