RESOLUTION INCREASING FEES FOR CEMETERY SPACES AND SERVICES
WHEREAS, it is the P olic of the City Council to striveYY
toward achievement of a self-supporting , perpetual care
cemetery operation; and ,
WHEREAS, cemetery fees have last been increased in
September , 1987; and ,
WHEREAS, the largest local , private cemetery has fees
considerably higher than the City cemetery fees; and ,
WHEREAS, adoption of higher fees should help achieve
the desired goal .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT :
Cemetery fees are hereby increased 50% for space fees
and increased 25Y. for service fees, and the reduced fees at
Lakeview Cemetery are eliminated .
