RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1,
ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING FINAL
PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR THE LANDFILL SOIL
LINER VII PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
dated July 17, 1990 for the Landfill Soil Liner VII Project; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications, excepting only conditions described
in Change Order No. 1 for which the Contractor requests an
additional $3,010.86; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the total
cost based on actual quantities with Change Order No. 1 is
341, 098. 46; however, $304,278.84 has been paid to the contractor,
leaving a balance due of $36,819. 62; and,
WHEREAS this project was inspected and complete on December
14, 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, Change Order No. 1 is approved, and the City Manager
is authorized and directed to pay the contractor the amount as set
out above.
