AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A TEN (10) FOOT
WIDE PORTION OF A FIFTEEN (15) FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOTS
14 & 15, BLOCK 2, SIKES ESTATES, UNIT 1, SECTION G, WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Wichita
Falls has recommended the closure of a ten (10)foot wide portion of a fifteen
(15) foot wide utility easement in Lots 14 & 15, Block 2, Sikes Estates, Unit
1, Section G; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the portion of the
easement hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The southerly ten (10) feet of a fifteen (15) foot wide utility
easement lying along the northerly boundary line of tots 14 & 15, Block 2,
Sikes Estates, Unit 1, Section G, Wichita Falls, Texas, and having for its
west boundary, the easterly right-of-way line of Maplewood Avenue, and
bounded on the east by the west boundary of a 7.5 foot wide north-south
utility easement, lying parallel to and abutting the east lot line of said
lot 14; is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
