RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRM OF CORLETT, PROBST AND BOYD,
INC. FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN OF PRISON WATER
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls will install a water and
sewer system to serve the new state prison to be constructed near
the intersection of Huntington Road and Reilly Road;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the engineering firm of
Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. to perform the engineering design
services for the water system to serve the prison; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined a contract for the
cited engineering services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract with Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. to provide
engineering services for the design and construction of a water
system to serve the new prison site is hereby approved with the
maximum base fee for the services described in the contract to be
53, 000. The City Manager is authorized to ex- ute the contract
for the City.
