RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO TONY'S CHEMICAL
HOUSE FOR ANNUAL SUPPLY OF POLYMER FOR WATER
TREATMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for cationic polymers used to treat water for the City of Wichita
Falls;
WHEREAS, potential bidders were required to prequalify their
product through prescribed laboratory and plant-scale testing at
a City water plant; and,
WHEREAS, two vendors prequalified their product and the
Council has examined a summary of the bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the annual supply of cationic polymer for water
treatment is awarded to Tony's Chemical House of McAlester,
Oklahoma at the price of $0.89 per lb. resulting in an annual
estimated cost of $22,517.
