RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF TREES FOR PARKS AND MEDIANS
WHEREAS , bids for the purchase of trees were received
November 4 , 1992; and ,
WHEREAS , the lowest and responsible bids are within the
budget _
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Contracts for the purchase of 471 trees are hereby
awarded to Flamingo Gardens , Houston , Texas for 368 trees
for $19 ,250 .00; to Bush Landscape , Arlington, Texas for 66
trees for $2 ,830 .20; and to Wichita Valley , Wichita Falls ,
Texas for 37 trees for $2 ,220 .00; and
Contracts for the purchase of 250 trees are hereby
awarded to Flamingo Gardens , Houston , Texas for 160 trees
for $7,625 .00 and to Bush Landscape , Arlington , Texas for 90
trees for $6 ,138 .00 .
