A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES
CORPORATION FOR COMPUTER HARDWARE MAINTENANCE; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, proposals were received for the maintenance of the
City's central computer system; and,
WHEREAS, International Business Machines Corporation of
Wichita Falls submitted the lowest and most responsible proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a service agreement with International Business Machines
Corporation for hardware maintenance of the City's central
computer system and to exercise the City's options for renewal
under the terms of the agreement.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.
