RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO RELOCATE
SANITARY SEWER LINE AT KELL BLVD. AND
LAWRENCE STREET, AND TO AUTHORIZE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Bowles Construction Company of Wichita Falls, in the amount of
14, 520 to relocate a sanitary sewer line at the intersection of
Kell Blvd. and Lawrence Street;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed, and the City staff has
inspected and found the work to be acceptable;
WHEREAS, the contractor previously has been paid $14, 230,
leaving an amount due of $290; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has recommended the Council accept
the contract as complete and authorize the City Manager to make
the final payment to the contractor
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to relocate a sanitary sewer line at the
intersection of Kell Blvd. and Lawrence Street is hereby accepted
as complete, and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment of $290 to Bowles Construction Company.
