RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH DIGITAL
EQUIPMENT CORPORATION FOR MAINTENANCE
OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FIRE
MANAGEMENT COMPUTER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Police and Fire Department
operations are supported by a computer system utilizing
Digital Equipment hardware, and
WHEREAS, the Digital Equipment Corporation proposes to
maintain this hardware for an annual charge of $34 , 407 . 36,
less 5% if prepaid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to sign said contract
and authorize prepayment in the amount of $32 , 686. 99 for the
service year November 1, 1992 , through October 31, 1993 .
