RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO SCALES
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PROJECT TO RELOCATE
SANITARY SEWER LINE ON EAST SCOTT STREET (US
HWY 287 BUSINESS)
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the relocation of a sanitary sewer line on East Scott Avenue,
which bids were to be made on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Scales Construction Company of Wichita Falls, who bid unit prices
with an estimated total of $31,903 .20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of Scales Construction Company with an
estimated total of $31,903 .20 is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
said contractor for the construction of such project.
