RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1992 MILL AND OVERLAY
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ZACK
BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost of $441,844 . 50
and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
478, 142 . 31 of which $448, 360. 30 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $29,782 . 01; and ,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1992 Mill and Overlay Project is hereby accepted and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
