RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AGREEMENTS WITH THE TEXAS FOREST SERVICE
WHEREAS, the America the Beautiful Challenge Grant
Program is soliciting grant applications; and,
WHEREAS, the governing body is required to designate a
representative authorized to execute agreements associated
with the grant request; to commit to providing its share of
the cost of the project, and to permit the planting of trees
on City property.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
agreements with the Texas Forest Service; that the City
commits to its share of the cost of the project; and that
trees are permitted to be planted on City property.
