RESOLUTION NO. / 3- l'
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG AMBER, BORTON,
LEE AND REDBUD STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO DUKE
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Duke Construction Company with the total estimated
cost of $363,433 . 00 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
400,267. 17 of which $379, 672 . 94 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $20,594.23 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Amber, Borton, Lee and Redbud Street Reconstruction
Project is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to
make final payment to the contractor.
