RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE USE OF AVAILABLE
DESIGNATED FUNDS FOR CONTINUING INSPECTION
SERVICES BY BIGGS & MATHEWS, INC. ON HOLLIDAY
CREEK SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a contract on
January 5, 1988 with the engineering firm of Biggs & Mathews,
Inc. for engineering and inspection services related to the
Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project;
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a modification to said
contract on April 16, 1991 to provide for additional funds for
inspection services during Phase II of the project; and
WHEREAS, the project is being funded by a low-interest loan
from the State Revolving Fund;
WHEREAS, the City has used less than $225, 000 of a $325, 000
authorization in the State Revolving Fund for Phase II of the
Holliday Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to make additional
funds available to the staff to continue payment for inspection
services for Phase II of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
This staff is authorized to continue making payment from the
State Revolving Fund to Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for the inspection
services during the remainder of Phase II of the Holliday Creek
Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project. The staff is authorized to
expend an additional $35, 000.
