A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM
DEED TO THE R. J. WACHSMAN BUILDING CORPORATION FOR ANY
INTEREST OWNED BY THE CITY IN A DRAINAGE EASEMENT
ACROSS A PORTION OF BLOCKS 41 AND 49, LAKEVIEW FARMS
ADDITION; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the R. J. Wachsman Building Corporation has
previously dedicated a drainage easement across a portion of
Blocks 41 and 49, Lakeview Farms Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the R. J. Wachsman Building Corporation desires to
exchange this easement by dedicating another drainage easement
also across Blocks 41 and 49, Lakeview Farms Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the exchange of such easements is authorized under
Section 272.001 of the Texas Local Government Code, and the City
Council of the City of Wichita Falls finds it is in the best
interest of its citizens to exchange such property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Wichita Falls be and is
hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Wichita
Falls a quit claim deed to the R. J. Wachsman Building
Corporation for a drainage easement across a portion of Blocks 41
and 49, Lakeview Farms Addition.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.
